Welcome to the Bathroom

Welcome to the Bathroom began as a simple eight-shot short film made as a personal filmmaking exercise. Working entirely on my own, I experimented with camera placement, movement, acting, and editing to create a short sequence where a briefcase unexpectedly becomes an elevator.

The project later took on a completely different form for a class assignment exploring how an existing work could be transformed into another medium. I repurposed still frames from the original film to create an interactive choose-your-own-ending experience in Google Slides. While the imagery remained the same, the story and way the audience experienced it were completely reimagined.

Together, the two versions became an experiment in how the same visual material can be used to tell completely different stories.
